ASHOKA and DEVI ..... battle for love

ashok arrived in his so called home, paraja loves him soo much that the news of his arrival was enough for peoples to go crazy , but from the samrat to the common people everyone was shocked to see ashoka smiles soo happily , with all his teeth visible, first time in life , or soo.
sushim: is he gone mad, his new wife revati giggled.
ashok: pranam, pitashri.
samrat bindu: i m proud of u , how do u get the idea of nonviolence on, without the loose of single life u stopped a rebeillion . its normal for everyone to hear bindu's praising for ashok but what happened after thet make everyone's jaw dropped ashok who hates his father , has answered his fathers praising with a hug.
helena: u don't look normal ashok something happened to you.
ashok: i got to know the meaning of love .
chanakya: ek or prem vivah , dekh rhe hai chandragupt , ashok bilkul aap ki tarah hai .
bindusaar: who's the girl?
ashok: who is girl? what is a girl?  he was shocked to the very core ,
bindu: u can't lie from me , u know , i can see that come we will talk in my room. he is happy to see his son in love , but didn't showed it.
sushim: bhai ashok, u r back after a long time , i missed u . he came and hugged him brother , in return ashok to hugged him .
ashok: don't worry , i m back bharata , now we will see each other in the arena each day, bhabhi get ready to heal my brother. ashok taunted , and left.

bindusaar was waiting for ashok lost in thought ,
ashok : may i come in , father.
bindu: here, sit in front of me . he followed.
ashok : pitashri , i know u will never allow me to marry her.
bindu : who is she? he remained calm and compose.
ashok : she is the daughter of bodhigupt , the mukhiya of vidisha .
bindu : she is not a princess , u can't marry her as ur first wife.
dharma: she is far better than a princess , remember our trip to vidisha years ago , she was a kid then still so humble, calm and caring , i had cold back then and she prepared khada for me . a proud smile appeared in ashoka's face.
bindu : but what will i tell to acharya , the respective brahmins ?
chankya : i don't have any problems , and the case of brahmins , radhagupt told me about asandhimitra's wish to u about non-violence , a lady with such good thoughts will be welcomed in the place , happily.
bindusaar : it was her wish for non-violence .ashok nodded with pride.
dharma : i m soo happy for u ashok.
bindusaar: but what rajmata , your other mata , your brothers , they will not allow.
ashok: i don't care about them pitashri, i want your yes.
bindusaar: ok, but i will judge her myself, and soo will raani ma . any problem.
ashok :no.

ASHOKA and DEVI.....you are mine

AFTER the jungle walk, the whole day asandhimitra stayed in her room all day blushing, she even had her food in her own room, that night was somewhat chilly, she stood in her balcony, lost in her thought that she don't know when ashok come hanging from the roof.
he came from behind softly let his hand slip in her waist that she froze knowing his presence.
ashok: your father is ready for our marriage. in her own joy, she turned and threw her hand around his neck all giggling, she pulled her close , feeling her hot breath, nose touched soon lips too and become a passionate one, more deep than the jungle one.
ashok: i have to go to pataliputr.
asandhi: i will come too. she was eager.
ashok: no, i have to convince everyone, just hope acharya chankya stands with us. he was serious making her to worry more.
asandhi: is marrying me such a complicated matter in your family.
ashok: no, but they will make it complicated , as the don't want my happiness.
asandhi: come soon to take me . her eyes were moist.
ashok: i will, and it doesn't matter if i have to go against my family, u r mine (u know), come i will help u fell asleep.
ashok led asandhimitra in bed and sits on her bedside caressing her hairs , pecking her forehead.
he knew complications will come but he is samrat vanraj and he will take his samraagi with him . he smiled knowing she slept he left her bedroom all smiling.

THE next day, he left with his companion for the upcoming battle , battle of love. leaving behind his beloved . promising he will come soon. and before leaving he wrote a letter to his mother .

     i m coming back soon but before i come back and u will start your search back , i should inform u that i find mine love in the daughter of the mukhiya of vedisanagari, asandhimitra. she is just like your mirror reflection , so caring , so loving, so kind. u have to help me to request father so that i can marry her. ok

dharma was the happiest person following by subharasi . now, they have to prepare for their samrat's wedding.

ASHOKA and DEVI .......first kiss

Asandhimitra: i m going. she was all crimson red.
ashok: aaaahhhhh its paining...i can't even move....
yes he was in a deep pain she could feel it.
asandhi: ok i m here taking care of u , i make it clear, i don't have any feelings for u.
ashok: liar.....he smiles weekly.
the whole day , she sat with him either changing bandages, giving him medicines, or just looking at his wet eyes.the whole palace knew about their mutual understanding. he falls asleep only when asandhimitra sits with his side,she feeds him food, all day talk to him , they are completing eachothers world.
ashok don't need anyone except her, and asandhimitra only needs to be with him. as she speaks the whole day and no one in his whole family has courage to sit all day and listen to her, only ashok knows how to do it, she talks and he quietly sit with her and listen.

10 DAYS, has passed and now he is much more better only some scratches left.
asnadhi: champa did u know where is rajkumar gone.
champa : he is in the forest near the palace.
she run hard to meet him, he was walking alone in the forest silently.
asandhi: u know walking alone can cause sadness.she came with a huge smile.
ashok: near is a ashok tree, come we will sit it together.
asandhi: its beautiful u know. she walk near the tree hugging the tree.
ashok: u have touched to ashok u know one is holy, pure and beautiful.and another one is me , all scary and dark.
asandhi: no, both are the same.

SUDDENLY, he moved closer , her heart beat skip, ashok hold her waist making shiver run through both's body.and lift her up , she intertwine her hands on his strong neck for support, both shared an eyelock lost in eachothers world BUT
shakyani doesn't know it was snake near her , because of which he lifted her, and now that snake was taking his last breath under his foot. he died.
ashok get her down , pulled her more close , making her blush red, both don't know who make the first move, it feels like a magnetic force pull them close but they are now sharing a kiss , which is a promise of love, trust, and passion for each other, there first kiss.
it was only a few minutes but looks like eternity . lost in each other's eyes. he broke the silence.
ashok: u will be my wife , u will stay with me till my last breath, u are mine, because u love me for what i m , not for what other's think of him.
asandhi: and what if i don't want to be your wife . she added teasingly.
ashok: then, i will say that i lifted u up because a snake was ready to a have taste of u . listening this , looking down her scared figure hide deep inside his strong chest , making him chuckle.
asandhi: father will decide about marriage , now lift me up , its scary.
ashok: more scary then me , priye.
asandhi: u r not scary , u r mine wild prince . she said blushing.
her words make him soo happy that he carried her to the palace in his arms....

ASHOKA and DEVI...........i love you...

DEVI didn't get a sleep all night she was praying , for ashok's safety. the daasis arrived for dressing devi ,
"asandhimitra" champa came screaming throughout the corridor making it hard for her to say what she wants to.
"relax, calm down, now say what happened" devi in her usual calmness.
"raj...rajkumar ...ashok"
"he came" she got excited.
"u were right devi, yesterday , some peoples attacked him , he is seriously injured , monks treated him all long night , they brought him, here in the palace" hearing this she thought her world is scattered.
"shakyakumari, aalta(red mehendi types for foots)" a daasi said.
"m going to meet him"
"no, shakyani get your shringar done, then go"
"if something happened to him , what will i do of this shringar then" everyone was shocked to see there usual calm companion shouting like this.

SHE ran for her love, open hairs, no jewellery, red hands and foot because of aalta , she ran without even thinking what will everyone think of her,
the room was filled with medicinal herbs , he was groaning in pain , vasunandan by his side,
"ashok" she came running tears covering her cheeks ,akarmak radhagupt and everyone left to give them some alone time .
vasunandan said to asandhimitra before leaving "thnks god u came, the whole night he was in pain , didn't get conscious but still remembering u"

SHE sat by his bed side , holding his hand,
" asandhimitra" yeah he was taking her name in his unconsciousness.
"i m here, and m sorry it all happened because of me" she said sobbing."i know u love me, u care for me, i was scared of public, rules, our different dharma, but now i promise , i won't hurt u ever i promise, just get up and talk to me" she confessed.
" aap humse prem krti hain na, priye" he said in a weak voice.
" swayam se bhi aadhik" she said realising that he hear everything ......
                   precap: a love,romance is going to start ...;)

 

ASHOK and DEVI ...........ahankara

she was a princess of dreams, from birth whatever she demands she get it effortlessly ,once upon a time her family was complete with her father mother, didi agnishikha and it became a fairytale after rajkumar sushim came to her life with love but he broke his promise left her when she needs him .
"rajkumari, maine suna hai ki rajkumar ashok ujjaini padhar rhe hai , ujjaini ke logo se kuch baat krne"
" sach, my ashok is coming to ujjsini , daasi go and prepare his room, and his favourite dishes too, i m soo happy , i will meet him after soo many years"
"rajkumari , u should tell him about your love"
" but he greets me as a friend, he writes to me regularly but as a friend"
" then, u should propose him"
"yes champa, today i will tell him"

HERE, ashok held a meeting with rebellions and get to known that the culprit was the officers. he decide there punishments and was on the 7th floor with the thought of asandhimitra.
"rajkumar , rani niharika held a feast for u "
"we will go, and i have to meet my friend ahankara too"
in the palace after meal a daasi came to ashok and informs him that ahankara wants to meet in the garden.
he was shock for such a personal meeting with friend but he left to meet her.

IN the moonlight she was standing wearing a white attire (his favourite color)
"hey ahankara" he came smiling.
"i want to say something "both said in unison.
"you first rajkumar" she said all blushing
"ok......i m in love" she kept eyes down blushing he continued.
"she is the princess of vidisha , my love , we r going to get married soon"
ahankara was shocked , she knows asandhimitra as her childhood friend , and always says to her that she is just like ashok  dedicated to motherland" a silent tear drop her eyes she wiped it away without him noticing.
"asandhimitra is my friend , a nice girl" she said sobbing.
"yeah, she is , well, u was saying something ahankara"
"i will come for your wedding " she ran away unable to control.
"ahankara wait" but she didn't .
once again the person she loves , love someone else.

"CAN'T we go right now " ashok was all jumping in excitement.
"no, we will head, at dawn" akaramk
" plzz, acharya , i want to tell her myself"
"its dangerous "
"please, i will take my officers"
"ok go , u r getting mad in love " akaramak can't stop his laugh now.

ashok was so restless that with five officers he left at night , but he was too much ahead of them or say the officers got lost.
"now, were that stupids gone" he sat to kulbhushan who neigh.
suddenly, he fell someone behind, before he could turn two soward was inside him from back , somewhat he managed to turn and fight the two cowards but the number was increasing , from every corner peoples are punching our hero. but he kept fighting.
in no time, his officers came for rescue and found that he killed everyone and was unconsious himself.

they took him to vidisha with full speed , vihar came first then palace ,they admitted him in vihara and monk started treating him.
"NO" devi screamed coming back to reality from dream.
" what happened rajkumari" champa came hearing her friend.
" rajkumar ashok, is in danger i have to go" she was crying bitterly.
" he can take care of himself, u should sleep now "
"no ,i wouldn't"
"then why don't u accept u love him"
"shut up ,champa"
the whole night she prayed for her wild prince to buddha for his safety.
 that night saw three peoples , one crying for loosing her love again.
a prince fighting with life , a princess in love but not accepting it.............

            this is my story it has nothing to do with the serial on ashoka and in terms of history ahankara does not exists......




 

ASHOKA and DEVI......for my love

"I have an idea" vasunandan said happily.
"what idea" ashok looks flustered.
" shakyakumari asandhimitra hates u becoz she known u as a person who is strict to follow rules, she knows u as a senapati, not as a person , ones she will spend time with u , get to known your dreams for your motherland she will start loving u" vasunandan said to a confused ashok.
"how will i make her spend time with me we have to leave tomorrow for ujjaini "
" ask her hand on marriage from her father , bodhigupt ji wouldn't say a no to rajkumar ashok"
" alright, one day i knew she will love me" ashok said dreamingly.

THE next morning , wild prince of magadh who rarely stood in front of mirror is giving extra care for looks, he wore a white attire with gold embroidery , and a red tilak all looking manly  , he walked straight to meed devi's father.
"subhadivas rajkumar" asandhimitra parent's and granny welcome him
" aapka din mangalmaye ho" he said with a smile which shock everyone including acharya akaramak and vasunandan ( as he rarely smiles)
bodhigupt was about to say something when ashok speak up
" before u speak something , i want to ask u for something very precious to me "
"ask rajkumar "
" i, the son of magadh samrat bindusaar and maharani dharma , rajkumar ashok, with full respect for your daughter, asks for ur daughter's hand in marriage with me "
devi's parents says him a yes but there is something they are hiding.
" no father " suddenly asandhimitra came to scene with teary eyes .and continues
" i can't marry u rajkumar ashok"
" but why"

SHE is staring at him with rage , but he was enjoying her resistance
"because my marraige is fixed with the mukhiya of besnagar '
ashok felt his life going away from him .
"i will talk to him" he said determinately.
" we have no match, u r a prince ,i m a head's daughter"
" no one will say u a word until i m there for u "
" u r a shivalik , i m a sambuddha"
" nowhere its written that two different religions people can not marry each other"
" i have to continue my studies on ved and arthshastra"
" that u can continue in pataliputra , u will have your freedom "
"i hate your expansion policies, and your wars "
" tell me , how can i be worthy of you "
everyone was shocked , the prince of magadh is not worthy for a commoner.
" by stopping, the rebellious of ujjaini without a fight, do it with ahinsa ,i hate fights," she was close to tears " and after i will come with u "
"it's impossible" achrya akramak said
"i will do it " ashok said he moves close to her and continue" u know why, my love , because i don't ever let go what is mine, and u better be ready for that "
ashok took the leave and left with acharyas and his companion .


THE whole night , his words played in her mind , each time she blush and hide her face in pillow , and thinks
"is it wrong for me that i said a no to him, he loves me, but he is cruel and against humanity
i can't ever love him"

"I CAN do anything for being with u , asandhimitra, and soon u will realise it "he thinks of her smiling face.
acharya radhagupt came rushing to ashok's tent
"do u even know what is ahinsa" he asked
" no, but acharya for my love i will do it"
" and what if u can't "
" then, i will never marry anyone" ashok said grinning.
" u love her too much , my boy"
yeh, samrat bindusaar will faint knowing this side of his wild son" acharya akarmak said making ashok a little embarrassed.

ASHOKA and DEVI........heart-broken

"LADOO"she screamed so that he will stop coming more close but he came and held her arms.
"thanks, u came to meet me, from the time we met in backyard i was looking for u everywhere, to talk to u" he exclaimed. but she changed the topic,
" ur laddoo, m sorry i gave that one to children's, its urs eat them and don't tell anyone about the incident" she said.
"ok" he said and started eating like a baby," u made them just like my mother"
she couldn't stop her laughter by seeing the rude general, now ladoo in both hands and small bundi all over his face . he grew angry that now she known his that part which only his mother known.
" i want rest, go from here" he said wiping bundi.
"ok going i m" she headed towards the door but he held her wrist.
"will you come tomorrow also to meet?"he asked forgetting his anger.
"i have no reason to meet u"
"but we r friends, u should come to meet me"
"we r not , and we can never be rajkumar ashok" she got irritated and leaved.
but he was shocked "why?" "why i feel pain in heart" "why she could never we my friend"
"i want her badly" by the last thought , he was shocked himself.

THE next morning all the friends were excited to go in jungle for shikar, but ashok was getting bore , he wants a deer or bahrasinga as there were speciality of vedisanagari , suddenly he noticed one and ran behind him, vasunandan followed, the bahrsingha was beautifully cuddling with his beloved , but ashok didn't even noticed ther love, he just want his shikar , he pointed towards the bahrsingha with arrow and "SHOOT"

"STOP" he stopped in middle way. noticing asandhimitra, between his arrow and the bahrsingha. she was looking angry and about to cry.
"i hear that u r cruel ,but this much, what do u want from this animal , TELL ME, u don't eat bahrasingha , do u?" she shouted.
" why u came in between, what if it hurts u , u can even get killed?"
" do u even thought what if today he is dead , where will his beloved go if something happened to him" tears started dropping down her cheeks.
" she is a animal , she would find someone else, why r u crying now?"
" they to have a heart rajkumar ashok, enough now i m going"
"why" now its ashok who is feeling guilt for bahrsingha who he killed before.
"away from u , if i will be near u ,it will blackened my heart, to tell u the truth rajkumar ashok , u r the cruelest , heartless person i have ever meet, why u came to vidishanagari can't u we always in patliputra , i hate u and ur cruel policies, i knew u are hear to kill innocent peoples of ujjaini " she said with blurry eyes.
ashok was shocked the previous night he couldn't sleep becoz of this girl , now here she declared her hatred for him , it hurts more than when he get knowns his father's betrayal. " why " "is i m in love with her?" "no, ashok forget her she hates u"
"stop crying" he said becoz he can't see her tears . and headed for the mansion . vasunandan knew ashok is in pain , followed him.

"forget about her, she broke your heart , why r u in love with her" vasunandan said as ashok was lying in bed , lost in thoughts.
"i can't , i known she hates me, but i can love her all my life, i want her to come with me to my palace" said a weak voice.
" samrat will never allow u to marry a mukhiya's daughter that to a buddhist."
"if i will tell him about my love, father will allow, father knew what is love " with the passage of time ashok accepted the fact about his father's love for his mother , but never talks to him.
"soo, u accept that ur father wasn't a culprit " vasunandan words make him realise what he said
"it's not a time to think of my father's love story , think about my love story ,and how i get my love"
"i have an IDEA" vasunandan exclaimed with joy.

ASHOKA and DEVI....... where is she?

SHE felt someone behind her , she turned , a man with eyes of lion , perfectly build body,a fierce warrior she was busy and lost in noticing the man who is going to be her life.
and ashok smiles thinking a goddesses in a white saree is standing in front of him, with his favourite laddoo. mesmerized by her beauty , ashok don't even known when she runs away inside the house out of embarrassment.
he returned to his army, all smiling, "u okay, mitra" said vasunandan , who was shocked to see ashoka smiling.
" what happened to me? i m all right" ashoka still unknowingly smiling.
"then, we should go , its all ready dinner time" acharya akarmak.

REACHING ,the mansion , all peoples flocked to see there fierce prince. sumitra and bodhigupt (mukhiya of vidisanagari ) came to welcome them. the hall was well decorated, and full of people, the officers and army peoples coming to ashok and introducing themselves.soon, everyone get busy discussing politics, temperature but ashok was silent , his eyes was still searching for just one look of the lady , suddenly his heart starts pounding faster ,he knew that  she is around "but where?" the dasi came to inform and food is ready to serve .

They headed towards the dining area which was specially for prince ashok, acharya radhagupt, acharaya akarmak, and vasunandan, and the mukhiya's family. the smell of fresh flowers, the scent of perfume and noice made by tiny bells of payal reached his ear, he looked behind "it was she".
"its asandhimitra , my daughter, my pride"said bodhigupt.
"pranam achrya" she said in a soft voice to both acharya and started serving them food.
ashok was constantly staring at her,"she is beautiful, isn't she , mitra" vasunandan following ashok gaze.
"don't look at her " ashok.
" mitra , she is a follower of sambuddha , no one will approve your love, don't fall for her"
"i don't care " ashok. "would u taste the halwa?" there discussion ended with asandhimitra standing in front of her with halwa.
"sure, shakyakumari" vasunandan. "i want those ladoo's which u gave to them" ashok.
she skipped her heart bit. and again run inside the kitchen.

after finishing the dinner , sumitra showed vasunandan and ashok there rooms,
"would u guys with me and my friends for a shikar, tomorrow " sumitra
"sure , we will" ashok smiling at his new friend.
after sumitra took his leave, he was all alone in room standing in the balcony noticing the full moon.

the smell of flowers fill the room, he turned back , she came from the dark room to the open balcony , a thaali in hand, the moonlight fall on her and she started shining more brightly then the moon ,open hairs , black eyes, pink lips , all looks so beautiful, he thought .
he approached to her,

ASHOKA and DEVI......... meeting

 ashoka was the 2nd  son of emperor bindusar, now has turned 18 ,his mother dharma is all set to look for a bride for his son to get married.

     "but here lies the problem, maharani" said Rani subhrasi

     "what problem, myson is in marriage age , i have to get him married" said maharani dharma.

      "this is the problem, who will marry ashoka everyone is scared of him, any princess of entire magadha reign , runs away just by seeing him" said Rani noor

      "NO, i known someone is there for him, we just have to find her, that's all" subhadrangi.

 

MEANWHILE, in the court,

    " you called me father" ashok

"yes, my son , we are stuck in a problem , acharya chanakya said only you could solve " samrat bindusar.

" What is it ?" ashoka

"the provision of ujjaini gose rebellious, someone has to go to clear the problem with them , we approched Rajkumar Sushim, but he is busy with his new bride" acharya

"dont disturb him acharya, i will go to ujjaini" ashoka said laughingly on his brother.

"the samanth (mukhiya, head) of vedisanagari and his son Sumitra will help you with the situtation"

"ok, father"

 

EARLY in the morning , ashok is all set to leave for ujjaini, When

     "why, you have to go now, your mother and i am looking for a bride, now" subharasi

   "i don't need wife now"
" one day, one will come and drive u head over heels" subharasi.

"ohh come on, its not that easy, i will take your leave now " trying to hide his embarrasement , he heads for his trip.

 

"Asandhimitra, Where r u ?" said devi's mother

" what happened? Mother"

"did you clean the guest room for prince "

" yes, i hope he will like it"

" ohho, the fierce prince of magadha , is coming to see your decoration" said the twin brother sumitra teasingly.

"shut up, brother, i don't want to meet the prince , i m going in the kitchen to look is everything all right" said devi.

"u r gonna cook for him devi," sumitra winking.

"brother, i will kill u now"

 

"acharya radhagupt , i dont think its safe to rely on the vedisnagari peoples , i will go first and look all around the house, to see the mukhiya has no unani with them" ashok.

"u r thinking too much, they are good peoples"

"just to make sure, achraya"

" come first"

 

IN  the back of the house little hungry kids were seen the  dishes preparation for prince ashok. suddenly , devi spotted them " what r u doing here"

" we r sorry, shakyakumari, we were just seeing the dishes"  "why for" devi said.

"we only eat once in a day , so we are little hungry"

the kind , warm hearted asandhimitra was melted by seeing the children in such a condition , not knowing of rajkumar ashok , watching all this from behind , she said " the prince would'nt notice some food missing"

"she comes from the kitchen with thaali full of laado " "eat now"

" i too love laados ,shakyakumari"

Devi frowned, "who is it ?" she said.

" the prince who would'nt notice missing food" Ashok winks at her.
