this is a article to let u meet the real natures of the persons of maurya family , who played a crucial role in mauryan history and now , u think are they the same person whom u meet in " chakravartin ashoka samrat"
1. the ashoka :
ashoka was born in the palace of pataliputr as the 2nd son of bindusaar , but because of his capablities , and the fact that his mother was the most beautiful , the empress and her son sushim always try to show there supeority and ashoka his low status , thats the reason by at a young age ashoka has a scary image in front of everyone .he was a very cunning and sadistic person , ready to kill anyone anytime .
the dream in which they showed ashoka directly telling his identity to bindusaar , that's what ashoka is , a direct person who doesn't wait for the right time , but when he do anything that becomes the right time.
2. the chanakya :
chanakya died when ashoka was 21 , amd always keeps himself away from politics after chandragupta maurya's death , and was not that close to ashoka in playing games against helena or anyone. he was 80 , when died . and spends time with amatya rakshas discussing who play which trick against whom.
3.the bindusaar :
bindusaar was a very busy person with his big empire , and has the title of "ajatsatru" means which has no enemy , he doesn't have any time to look after his what son doing what , thats why the responsiblity of the palace , was on sushim's mother as the empress , if a daasi does anything , or insult anyone , she will decide the punishment , not bindusaar will be indulged in a daasi's stupid matter.
4.the helena :
helena must be not more than 16 when she got married as it was the marriage age of that time , but sadly just after 5 years of marriage chandragupt died , there are sources who talks about a tale that chandragupt was the one who taught ashok sword fighting at the age 6 .
ashok must be 1 year when helena entered the home , as his granny , and she was no evil , ahe was a good women who supports ashok , as his husband's beloved grandson .
5. the selecus nicator :
selecus nicator was not a king but a army officer , who lead the army to a fight with the magadha . and he gave his daughter in marriage with chandragupt maurya to get a respective position in society which was reduced after losing the war , he never entered the maurya politics , and was dead soon after helena's marriage , after him his son have a good relation with bindusaar . and he always sends grape wine to bindusaar , as he loved them .
6. the maharani dharma :
she was a gift to bindusaar by her father , but she always held a high respect in front of bindusaar as she never plays a melody or sugary sugary role to get new jewellery from him , and because of her beauty too , bindusaar always respected her (being the second wife , maharani , and a brahmin lady who belongs to the same dharma as bindusaar ) .
7. the yuvraaj sushim :
being the first child , he was a born yuvraaj , which his own charm , and manners because of which every single lady loves him , and wants to be his wife , there are sources which states that he has number of wives at a young age , (may be 20). but charm doesn't let u throne , he was charming but not brave , and responsible enough to maintain such a big empire. it was ashok whom ladies were scared of , its even hard to belive that he has a freind that to a lady.

ashoka's best freind , guru , and mentor , he played a crucial role in ashoka's life before he became a samrat and after he was samrat . u could say that the role of chankya in chandragupt's life and the role of radhagupt in ashoka's life are similar to each other.
